Productions
IMA Productions provide new and emerging media artists a chance to develop their skills while gaining valuable industry experience. Not only do you leave finishing college courses that count towards degrees or certificates, but you'll also earn an IMDB credit.
Feature Films or Series Productions
"If you can think it, you can write it, then you can film it," Stanley Kubrick.
Any production whether a documentary or fiction story starts with research and writing. Register for our writing classes FTVM 120 or FTVM 121. Write your script, feature film, hour drama, sketch comedy, or sitcom. Pitch your script. If selected the IMA through the FTVM Department at San Bernardino Valley College will produce your project.
Classes to take to earn an IMDB Credit for these types of productions include:
FTVM 120 or 121 - Introduction or Intermediate Screen and Broadcast Writing
FTVM 235 - Cinema Production (Required Perquisite classes *FTVM 130 and FTVM 122.)
FTVM 233 - TV Studio Production (Required Perquisite class FTVM 130)
FTVM 234 - Short Film Production (Required Perquisite classes *FTVM 130 or FTVM 131 and FTVM 122.)

These productions exclusively air on our region's PBS affiliate KVCR.

Equipment
The Institute of Media Arts supports the aspirations of our local filmmaker community in the Inland Empire region, through access to a variety of filmmaking equipment.
Requirements to Rent:
- You must carry a minimum of $1,000,000 in Film Production Liability Insurance
- You must have a major credit card
- You must be a member of the IMA

- Rentals subject upon equipment availability
- If you're an alumni member of IMA some items are available at no additional cost

Media Incubator Services
The incubator offers small businesses, non-profits, and government entities video production services at affordable rates. Our video production crews are made up of Institute Staff and interns from the Film, TV, Media program.
