Our Mission

The mission of the Veterans Resource Center is to provide assistance through education, certification and guidance to military veterans and their dependents in achieving their educational objectives and to effectively promote the retention, graduation, and transfer of military veteran students and their dependents.

What We Do

The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) assists veterans and veteran families (spouse/dependents) with successfully transitioning into college and accomplishing their educational goals.

Our veteran student staff assists veterans and their families with the necessary applications for admission, financial aid, and application of veteran education benefits which can lead to eventual certification.

The VRC at SBVC is a veteran/family friendly environment. We as the veteran’s population share common values and similar educational goals. The VRC provides all of the necessary tools for veterans/dependents to be successful throughout their college journey and beyond.
