Steps to Become a Student
After being admitted to the college, international students should take the following steps:
- Pay SEVIS Fee (Student & Exchange Visitor Information System)
- Apply for an F-1 Student Visa in the U.S. Embassy or a U.S. consulate
- Arrange for your flight to San Bernardino, California
- Complete an online Student Orientation
- Complete the Basic Skills Assessment Test
- Be ready to submit proof of health insurance as specfied during your counseling appointment
- Schedule an appointment with International Student Counselor
- Log in to SelfService, register for classes and pay for the classes and fees
- Register in the classes as detailed in your education plan. Make sure you register in three or more on-campus classes and only one online class to maintain a full-time course load of 12 or more units as approved by your international student counselor.
