- National Science Foundation -- This federal agency to funds grants related to science, mathematics, and engineering technology. Programs for undergraduate education include the ATE and TUES. Advanced Technological Education Program (ATE) This program has an emphasis on two-year colleges and supports programs that focus on the education of technicians for high technology fields. Transforming Undergraduate Education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (TUES). This program, previously called CCLI, supports efforts to create, adapt, and disseminate new learning materials and teaching strategies to reflect advances both in STEM disciplines and in what is known about teaching and learning.
