What is SummerFest?

A one-of-a-kind partnership between the San Bernardino Symphony and San Bernardino Valley College, and hopefully a campus tradition for many years to come!

This year’s festivities and concert are being held on July 5 at the SBVC Football Field from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with the concert starting at 7:30 PM.

Please note, tickets must be purchased to enjoy the concert. 

 

Tickets

  • Tickets must be purchased to enter the Stadium for the concert.
  • Tickets are not required to access market vendors, food, games, or to view the fireworks (launching around 9pm).

  • Free parking is available in all lots on San Bernardino Valley College's Campus.

SummerFest is free and open to the public to attend.

You can purchase food, browse market vendors, games and view the fireworks outside the Stadium without a ticket.

To attend the concert inside the Stadium, you will need a ticket.

No - you do not need a ticket to enjoy the food trucks, vendors, games, and fireworks; however, you do need a ticket to enjoy the concert inside the SBVC Stadium.

Food trucks, market vendors, games, and fireworks are expected at this year’s SummerFest. You don’t want to miss out!

 

This year’s festivities and concert are being held on July 5 in the SBVC Stadium from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with the concert starting at 7:30 PM.

 

The concert, titled “America, the Beautiful: Dancing to the 80's” is expected to bring thousands to campus this summer. The show ends with Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture and an exciting fireworks display. 

A ticket purchase is required to enjoy the concert inside the Stadium.

Yes - the concert will take place in the SBVC Stadium and require a ticket.

No - the fireworks can be viewed from anywhere on campus and will not require a ticket to see. They are synchronized to the music from the concert inside the Stadium, so the best audiovisual experience will be from inside the Stadium. They are scheduled to launch at roughly 9:00 PM, as part of the concert finale.

 

If you're a food or entertainment vendor interested in securing a spot for the 2025 event, please pay the "Vendor Fee", complete the "Vendor Application Form" and email your finished form to Anna Pishchanetskiy at apishchan@valleycollege.edu. About SummerFest

First launched in 2022 as a joint partnership between the San Bernardino Symphony and San Bernardino Valley College, SummerFest was built around the symphony’s already spectacular annual summer concert series. In addition to bringing the symphony’s sizable regular audience to the college campus, it showcases the college campus to the community during the peak of the summer season. Over 2,500 visitors streamed in to SBVC’s stadium for fun, food, music and fireworks in 2022. Conducted by Maestro Anthony Parnther, the concert features internationally-renowned musicians and vocalists, and concludes with a synchronized fireworks show that lights up the night sky above campus. In addition to food and games, visitors can access information about enrollment and registration throughout the event.
