Assistive Technology
We offer a variety of assistive technologies to improve functional capabilities
and facilitate the use of computers or electronic devices to access information
High Tech Center (HTC)
The HTC is a computer lab for students with disabilities. It's located in the
Liberal Arts Building, Room-105
Alternate Media
We produce alternate media to ensure you can access and use instructional materials.
Deaf/Hard of Hearing Services
If you are deaf or hard of hearing, we offer several services including sign
language interpreters, real-time captioning, and assistive listening devices.
Testing Accommodations
We will work with you and your professor to set up appropriate accommodations
for course exams.
Tutoring
One-on-one tutoring in a variety of subjects
Specialized Counseling
You will work individually with our SAS counselor and learning disabilities specialist
to set up and review your accommodations and plan for your academic goals
Start Receiving Services
To begin receiving services, you must be a current SBVC student. After completing the college admissions, you can complete the SAS application.
