Before You Apply
Complete the SBVC Admissions Application
Complete the SBVC Admissions application online at CCC Apply to obtain a Student
ID number and appointment for registration. Be sure to declare an educational goal
and major on your application.

Establish Residency
Establish residency with the Office of Admissions and Records as you must be a
California resident or AB540 to qualify for EOPS.
Submit Official Transcripts
Submit official transcripts to the Office of Admissions and Records for ALL college
coursework you have completed at other colleges or universities.
Less Than 70 Units
Confirm that you have less than 70 college units completed from all colleges you
have attended.
Complete the FASFA
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream
Act Application and submit all requested documentation to the SBVC Financial Aid Office.

Minimum 12 Units
Enroll or plan to enroll in a minimum of 12 units for fall or spring, if not a
participant of Student Accessibility Services (SAS).
