We make the utmost effort to see students in a timely manner. However, during registration periods, appointments fill quickly and students may experience longer wait time in the Drop-in Lobby.

Counseling for your academic, career, and life goals.

Counseling services are available virtually via Cranium Café, a web-based counseling platform and in-person. SBVC counselors can assist you in making informed decisions about your academic, career, and life goals.

Counseling will have drop-in services (walk-in appointments) for the first two weeks of the semester.

If you want more information on how to navigate the new “Self-Service” system, check out the videos that are available on the SBVC YouTube page.

Appointments are made two days in advance and open at midnight for available appointments. Appointment time will vary and will be personalized based on the individual needs of the student.

Drop-in services are available on a first-come, first-served basis for students with quick questions. Students will have up to 10 minutes with a counselors. Education plans may not be created during drop-in due to time constraints. For in person drop-in seervices, check in at the front desk.
