The San Bernardino Valley College Foundation is now accepting nominations for new Board Directors. Nominations will be accepted through February 28, 2018. The SBVC Foundation is governed by a 27-member volunteer Board of Directors that is charged with setting policy, providing oversight, and strengthening support for the college. Each Board Director's commitment to these activities enables San Bernardino Valley College to better serve its students and the local community.
New Fast-Track Job Training in Electrical Tech Offered at SBVC

For those who want to energize their career skills in 2018, San Bernardino Valley College is now accepting applications for a new accelerated program in electronics technology where full-time students can finish in eight months, instead of two years. Classes start January 16 and students can still apply by visiting valleycollege.edu.
SBVC Hosts First Poetry Festival

San Bernardino Valley College hosted its first John Trudell Poetry Festival on November 16 to commemorate the life and work of the famous SBVC alumni after which it is named. An outspoken advocate of Native American rights, Trudell's legacy of poetry and songwriting about righteous defiance was celebrated at the inaugural event.
