SBVC partnered with the Community Action Partnership (CAP) of San Bernardino County & Edison International to aid families in need with supplemental food during the COVID-19 pandemic. Together, they organized a community drive-through food distribution event that supplied over 700 families with a box of food. Numerous volunteers, including members of Helpful SoCal Honda, assisting unloading boxes from trucks, and placing them inside the trunks of the hundreds of cars that lined the SBVC parking lot. Households were encouraged to preregister to confirm hey were city residents and qualified for emergency food assistance program income guidelines.
