Freshman Kimberly Pena has the fastest feet in town, as proven during the Inland Empire Athletic Conference championship. Not only did the women's cross country team win the championship, defeating Chaffey College, but Pena also earned the best time, finishing the 5K in 20:45.6. She has been named the conference’s Athlete of the Month for October.

After her stellar showing, Pena was named the IEAC October Athlete of the Month. "I feel honored to be recognized after all the hard work that we've all put in," she said. "Our dedication led to a team and individual championship at the conference meet."
