Simón Silva is an artist, author, speaker, and "creativity crusader," who has spent more than 30 years developing projects for classrooms, colleges, and conferences. He started his career as an illustrator, before moving into the worlds of fine art and writing. On March 28, he presented a lecture and workshop on campus, discussing the importance of creativity in all industries. On his website, Silva says he believes that "employing artistic communication in our daily lives will create better professionals by making them better communicators, by getting them to ask the right questions. It also will provide individuals with the opportunity to find out who they are, what they feel, how they think."
