Community Invited to Valley WinterFest 2016
The San Bernardino Valley College campus will transform into a holiday wonderland from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, for the college’s first-ever “WinterFest.”
WinterFest is both an open house to welcome potential students and a campus-wide celebration of the coming of the holiday season. SBVC staff will be on hand to assist with filling out applications and registration, and everyone on campus is invited to get into the spirit by wearing school shirts and sweaters with Santa or elf hats.
The afternoon will be filled with fun events for all ages, with carnival games, food trucks, holiday film screenings, a concert, and story time for children. Carolers will perform, a holiday light show will dazzle, and pictures with Santa will make every child smile. The Clara and Allen Gresham Art Gallery will also be open during the event and visitors can take in a planetarium show at 5 or 6 p.m. For those looking to pick up the perfect gift, a holiday sale with a wide range of items will run throughout WinterFest.
This exciting event is free to attend and open to the community.
