66-Hour Film Festival

The 66-Hour Film Festival challenges participants to create a short film within 66 hours. Filmmakers are assigned a genre and must incorporate an element of Southern California’s Inland Empire into their project. The top film wins a $660 prize and is featured on KVCR, the local PBS station. This exciting event serves as the launch for San Bernardino Valley College’s Wolverine Con and International Student Film Festival.

Visiting Hours

A man in his early-40s is sedated in the hospital due to heart complications. As others visit him in the hospital, he realizes the good things around him that were overpowered by negative emotions when he reached a burnout phase in his career.

Kill Screen

Eddie, a retro video game speed runner, has made it his life's purpose to reach the fabled "kill screen" of "The Adventures of the Spaceman." The line between reality and game blurs as Eddie's relationships crumble, and he finally enters the uneasy world of the Spaceman.

A 3D animated short film about a mechanic, her robot companion, and the path they take to reconnect their relationship.

KALAVIUKA

The short film tells a mythical story set in Dunhuang, where the bird god Kalaviuka awakens from the ruins of a time of nuniversal extinction. She still hears the chirping of birds and walks on the lake of tears, where she sees a door in the wilderness. There is a hole in the door, and the old god with a broken hand looks at her through it.

Kino Kopf

Born from steel and glass Kino Kopf is created by two inventors. They are assembled by their mother, a nurturing artist, and their Father a greedy entrepreneur. Kino Kopf is the first of its kind a sentient humanoid VHS camera. They are given a life by their mother but presented to the world by their father. Kino Kopf is the next big sensation and spurs a technological revolution. They are soon forgotten and alone as new models surpass them. Kino Kopf is left alone to contemplate if they ever had a soul, as visions of an electric cowboy dance through their dreams. (Project was created by student's at Prague Film School)

Mouse's Job

Mouse and Jack, a pair of tight knit hitmen are pitted against each other when one decides he finally wants out. This film was made as a collaborative effort between the students and staff at Options for All Film & Media in Inland Empire. This project included students with disabilities in front of & behind the camera. Options For All exists to create hope, inspire dreams and achieve success. For 39 years, OFA has been creating unique programs that give individuals with disabilities more options for living their lives to the fullest. The Film & Media Program, developed 8 years ago, is an exciting job training program that fosters a supportive and empowering environment for students wanting to work in the film and media industry. OFA's Film & Media programs, located in San Diego, San Bernadino, and San Jose, operate as comprehensive, full-service, professional production studios, with the unique distinction of employing filmmakers who are exclusively from the neurodiverse community.

Steadying the Beat

TOMMY, a high school junior, doesn't realize he has a mental health illness which is general anxiety disorder, and he thinks nothing of it until its starts affecting them slowly, but starting to get worse(like the music he starts listening overtime starts to express how he feels and also shown by dialogue and body language) overtime and drives them to their first panic attack(heartbeat starts to get faster and louder). But overtime HE starts to ease in(meaning like start to slowly reach out to someone they trust) an start trying to get some help. Ends with their friend helping them. And is a Spartan TV production for my TV 3 project.

Take a Bite (Music Video) is about a girl who has an extreme crush on her "friend," but her friend already knows she has feelings. He doesn't, so he becomes dry and eventually ghosts her. The girl catches on and starts to try and move on from this unrequited love, but she keeps falling into old habits while trying to do so.
