Most scholarship opportunities fall into one of two categories: SBVC Foundation Scholarships or Outside scholarships. In order to maneuver the scholarship process, you need to understand the difference between these two types of scholarships.

SBVC Foundation Scholarships

The SBVC Foundation Office provides over $300,000 in scholarships each year exclusively to SBVC students.

The 2024-2025 online scholarship application is open from October 1, 2024 to January 31, 2025.

Outside Scholarships

We encourage students to research outside scholarships for additional educational funding.

Students with Outside Scholarship checks or enrollment verification forms should come to the Financial Aid Office, located at AD/SS-106, for assistance in order to receive their scholarship funds from other schools and agencies.
