ONLINE HYBRID introduction to ORGANIC and BIOCEHMISTRY

3473 CHEM-104 - Sec 71 AND 3475 CHEM-104H - Sec 72 HONORS SECTION (REQUIRED DISCUSSION HOUR/LABS MEETING TIMES!)
Discussion Hour: Wed 1:00PM - 1:50PM PS-310 (mandatory lecture time per week)
Lab Meeting: Wed 2:00PM - 4:50PM PS-310 (mandatory lab per week)
1.5 - hrs/wk *

* NOTE: Realistic online### study time is minimum 8-12 hours per week

IMPORTANT Chm 104 ONLINE ADVISORY:
STUDENTS enrolling in this section are EXTREMELY ENCOURAGED (but not required) to have successfully completed chemistry 101 (with a minimum B). Although a C from a chemistry 101 level course is the minimum requirement to take chm 104-71, more than 8-12 hours of studying time might be required due to missed concepts from chm-101 which you might need to review. If the above advisory criteria can not be met, a traditional lecture Chm 104 at another time might be a better option.

###The blackboard quizzes and videos are updated and supported using a PC internet explorer browser (since i do not own a MAC and can not troubleshoot using a MAC). In the past, i have students who complained they had trouble with blackboard quizzes and videos on their MACS which i could not help them with. PC's running internet explorer on XP, Vista, or Windows 7 are the preferred computer. Use a MAC at your own risk should you decide to take this course.
